Your Logo on the Piece: Placement Before Production

Applying a brand logo to custom jewelry begins with supplied artwork, a proposed position and a clear size reference. XiKe’s branding service concerns applying your existing logo to the piece or an agreed tag. It should not be confused with creating a new brand identity or designing a new logo.

The logo belongs in the development specification from the start. Adding it after the sample is approved can introduce a new decision about available space, appearance or the selected application method. For 925 sterling silver and brass designs, discuss the branding together with the material, dimensions and finish.

Choose a location with the piece in mind

Consider whether the logo should be visible during wear or placed on a less prominent surface. Show the proposed location on the actual design, rather than sending the logo as a separate file with no placement instructions. A marked drawing lets the development discussion address branding and construction together.

The available space depends on the piece. A broad brass component and a narrow silver detail require different decisions about logo size and positioning. If the design includes pearls or natural gemstones, identify those elements in the drawing so the branding proposal can be considered alongside their placement.

Confirm the application method

The private-label jewelry service covers logo application from supplied artwork. Stamping, engraving or a printed tag is selected to suit the piece and the brief. Listing these options does not mean that every method is appropriate for every surface or design.

Ask which method is proposed and where it will be applied. If a tag or branded component is involved, confirm whether it forms part of the finished jewelry delivery. Independent component supply, quantities and delivery scope require a separate agreement; a branding discussion should not imply an open-ended component catalog.

Approve the branding with the sample

Check the logo’s spelling, artwork version, orientation, position and appearance on the sample. Keep the approved file connected to the written specification. If the artwork changes later, identify it as a revision and confirm whether the existing sample still represents the production brief.

Use CAD and prototyping to discuss placement before the production specification is settled. For repeat orders, reference the approved branding version along with the rest of the piece.
